Sports Therapy
Sports Injury Rehabilitation
Initial injury assessment appointments include a full consultation, assessment, diagnosis and treatment suited to individual needs. Injury assessments offer an insight into what the cause of pain is and what is the best method to restore function, reduce pain, and promote healing after an injury.
Follow up rehab appointments are tailored to individual needs, and will include a combination of both gym-based rehabilitation and sports therapy treatment.
Rehabilitation plays a vital role in the recovery process for individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries. It offers numerous advantages, including optimised recovery through tailored programs, effective pain management techniques, and improvements in mobility and function. Rehabilitation also helps prevent complications and re-injury, leading to enhanced quality of life and faster return to daily activities. Additionally, it provides valuable psychological support, fostering resilience and coping skills during the recovery journey. Ultimately, rehabilitation promotes long-term health and wellness by instilling healthy habits and injury prevention strategies.
Sports Massage
Sports massage offers numerous benefits for everyone but particularly for athletes and those who engage in regular physical activity. It aids in injury prevention, improves flexibility and range of motion, and provides pain relief by addressing muscle tightness and imbalances. The massage enhances circulation, which supports faster recovery. Additionally, it helps reduce muscle tension, stress, and scar tissue, contributing to improved mobility and reduced pain. Regular sports massage can also enhance athletic performance by maintaining muscle health and promoting quicker recovery, while also improving mental clarity and focus. Overall, it is an essential practice for maintaining optimal physical condition and enhancing overall performance.
